Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist employees in the region with payroll/salary related activities.
- Compile attendance registers for Admin and Security Departments
- Assist employees with the completion of ill-health and retirement claims.
- Relieve the switch personnel as and when required.
- Keep copies of claims sent to Head Office on a monthly basis.
- Assist the stores’ personnel with stock taking when required.
- Reconcile leave, overtime and standby for submission to head office.
- Assist employees in region with payroll/salary related activities.
- Compile and reconcile all vehicle log sheets for all departments and submit them to head office on a monthly basis.
- Compile rent and electricity accounts for employees as well as private tenants.
- Preparation of claim forms for Medical practitioners and FEMA.
- Processing and finalization of petty cash claims.
- Reconcile and sign off on petty cash on a weekly basis.
- Proper handover of petty cash to substitute custodian when going and returning from leave.
- Always ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Observe Health and Safety Protocol.
- All assignments directed from time to time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 1-year clerical experience
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Customer care.
- Valid driver's license.
