KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage and coordinate personnel provisioning.
  • Motivate, train and guide staff to achieve and maintain excellence in service delivery.
  • Actively manage the performance, evaluation and rewarding of staff
  • Promotion of sound labour relations in the region.
  • Facilitate the growth and development of team members

  • Provide employees with support in terms of medical and related matters.

  • Facilitate payments by processing operating BPM system
  • Follow up on the implementation of regional induction process.
  • Coordinate and monitor the allocation of housing units and organize lease agreements to ensure deductions are implemented.
  • Communicate revised policies and procedures with employees.
  • Advise management and staff on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Lead and manage HR projects as directed by the HR Executive.
  • Responsible for full pension function including joining, withdrawals, death claims, ill-health retirements and normal/early retirements.
  • Administration of pension beneficiary nomination form and capturing on SAGE system.
  • Arrange distribution of the Performance Enhancement System (PES) documents and collate the quarterly assessment results.
  • Completion of Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) forms for terminated employees and submit to the Department of Labour.
  • Responsible for the administration of medical aid, medical check-up, notification of membership termination and records of medical information.
  • Load medical information on the SAGE system on a monthly basis and report progress during quarterly departmental meetings.
  • Compile procurement documents for recording and arranging payments.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Pension Fund status; SAGE; Leave and HR Departmental meetings.
  • Observe all Health and Safety protocols and procedures
  • All assignments as directed from time to time.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Tech/ Degree/ND in Human Resource Management/Finance Management/Public Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in handling of HR and financial administrative functions.
  • Competence in MS Office.
  • Extensive understanding of HR and Financial legislative frameworks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Valid Drivers’ License.
